Bios detects my SSD but nothing else does.

I bought myself a brand new Samsung 960 EVO M.2 SSD. Put it inside a perfectly working machine and a problem occurred. The BIOS has no problem detecting it, I have put the boot order as following: #1 SSD #2 Hard drive. When windows loads up though, there is nothing that recognizes the SSD, not even it's own Samsung Magician software. I've tried the following solutions: Have tried uninstalling the SATA AHCI Controller and rebooting-didn't work. I have also tried installing Windows to the point where I choose where the windows is installed so I can format the SSD from there, but it wasn't there either. I'm running out of ideas and starting to worry if it's a defective SSD, would appreciate some help! :)

Solution
Check your MB manual, with some MBs you can't have any disks connected to couple of SATA connectors at same time as M.2 disk. Windows 7 need Samsung SSD drivers installed otherwise can't use it.
