its hard to say since the 2060 is introducing new tech called raytracing so NVIDIA could release it into a totally different GPU segment as previous gen. which means they would have no reason to make any meaningful price cuts to the 10 series cards

Hard to tell, entirely depends on how rtx performs. If it's great, the market will be flooded with cheaper 1070s, however if rtx doesn't perform great for that price then the 1070s will retain price.
