Logitech g502 not working properly

I have a logitech g502 proteus which works well, but for some reason nothing happens if i try to press g4 or g5 while holding shift. this annoys me since im trying to build better in fortnite but i have to let go of shift all the time to build.
Is there a way around this or a way to deactivate this?

There is a chance that mouse4 and mouse5 + shift is not supported. I've seen this multiple times, that's why I rebind my mouse4 to f5 and mouse5 to f6 so that I can use them.

Yeah numpad has strange behaviors. Can you try binding them to lets say K and L, or some other letters and test again?

i bound them to o and p and it works fine now, thanks for your help

You're welcome. This is always a pain, that's why I've given up on binding important stuff to the mouse.
