Help with installing new ram!

So right now my computer is running 2x4gb if I wanted to switch to 2x8gb. Would I just remove the 2x4gb sticks and put in the 2x8gb sticks and then just boot my computer and everything will work???

Yep, it's as easy as that. Make sure the computer is off ( obviously ) and unplugged first.
