Hello, im brand new on overclocking.

I tried a lot of times to Overclock but i always have a problem, the computer freezes and i have to restart when im playing only or the game (Rainbow Six Siege in this case) crashes and when i end the process the computer starts to freeze but little by little and obviously i have to restart.

Something strange is that when i setup default settings on BIOS the NB Voltage goes on the max level and i have to lower it.

CPU: Intel Q6660
Motherboard: P35 Platinum
GPU: Geforce GTX 760
Memory: 8GB DDR2

I tried a lot of settings but didnt succeed, i really dont know the relation between the memory frequency and the FSB, hope you can help me and thanks!

This is a report i generated with CPU-Z i hope this helps.

Solution
Nice, you can try higher multiplier, x8 should work fine, probably a bit more voltage.
Im on GA-EP45-UD3R with mixed ram 2+2,2+1.
Just to add, dont try 1.525V and more on Q6600 (keep under 1.4V), it draws up to 180W, I set that on purpose since Im doing only benchmarks on this system.

Also if you have load line calibration, enable it, after 450FSB disable it, if you wanna go for 500 xD.
P35 is more stable with 65nm cpus than P45.

Now, i have it on 2.4 that is stable.

i will check your post and thanks!
