Bluetooth Headset Audio Delay

Hey guys,
So I am using a SKBT 3 A1 wireless headset. The sound is good, however my problem is with the disgusting audio delay. It works like a charm when connected to my phone, the delay is basically not noticable there. However, when connected to my PC, theres is a huge audio lag from 300ms all the way to 500ms. I am using a bluetooth 4.0 dongle, however using my JBL bluetooth speaker on the same pc results in miniscule delay as well, so it cannot be an issue with the dongle itself. Also something I have noticed, is when I connect the headset to the computer, the delay is about 150ms, but after a short while (about a few minutes, maybe less) the delay becomes much larger for some reason, all the way to 500ms sometimes. I've looked EVERYWHERE but cannot find anyone with the same issue. I have tried reinstalling drivers, re-pairing the device, even reinstalling the Bluetooth dongle drivers, but to no prevail. Any suggestions?

Solution
You can try a different adapter. This is a pretty well known issue with some bluetooth hardware and audio processing. If you do a web search for bluetooth audio delay you will find other post about the topic, with possible fixes.
