Hello im new to this overclocking thingy, but i guess if i bought 8700K version, oc is what i suppose to do?
Can some one using the same board help me to get stable 4.8 or 4.9 OC, im not going for full 5gz because im using Dark Rock 4 i guess its a little weak for that..
Now i have tried overclocking, set multiplier to 4,8 and left everything at auto. system boots, cinebench performs faster, but when i look at cpuid hwm monitor (running the test) vcore is at maximum value 1.440 witch i guessing is way too much, tems not exceeding 72 degrees,
But when i enable turbo boost feature, and run cinebech again, score is the same, vcore is 1.320 and not higher..
so im thinking do i need to OC at all?
will i benefit from it?
I use my computer mainly for Music and audio production purposes.
