Hi there! I was wondering how to set it up, where if i plug in a single 4k/32" curved monitor to one 1070, and my two side 24" monitors to the second card.
Is this a hardware configuration outside of SLI, or a settings configuration? because i actually notice a framerate Drop in SLI on a single monitor VS a single Card.

Solution

Unless things have changed since I was running SLI 970s a couple years ago, you can't use SLI if you plug monitors into both cards. For SLI to work all monitors need to be plugged into the same GPU. Besides, adding an extra monitor or two to the same GPU shouldn't really have an impact on performance unless you are trying to game on all 3 monitors. These cards are designed to support multiple monitors.

^ you are correct, i run 3 780Ti classifieds at work with 4 monitors. with SLI enabled you can not plug a monitor into the other cards...... well you can but nothing shows up, windows and nvidia see the monitor but will not display to it.
