Cannot run lubuntu 16.04 on my PC but can on others

so i just installed lubuntu 16.04 on a bootable usb and it can boot just fine on any other pc, but when i try to boot it up on my own pc it gives me a black screen and a little white line near the top left corner. I've tried to look up answers and people say they solve it buy installing it using the right method because they didn't do it right, but i have installed it exactly the same way as my friends and classmates and all theirs are fine but mine isnt, so it cant be the installation. If you could help thank you.

i used an actually lubuntu dvd to install the os on my usb so it should work better then any program, and ill rather fix it then buy another 32 gb usb since i have no money, and i might just run in the same problem and waste money. Im pretty sure its my computer that needs fixing since it works on any other pc and not mine. im using lubuntu 16.04 and yes 64bit desktop.

here are my specs:
cpu: intel core i5-7300hq
gpu: nvidia gtx 1060 3gb
motherboard: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. M80CJ-O
300 ssd and 1tb hdd

my class wont let me download any other edition at all on lubuntu or ubuntu and idk what the problem is trying to figure that out.
