[SOLVED] Difference between Corsair Vengeance LPX vs PRO and LED

Hello,

What is the difference between these three models, for example all 3 3000 MHZ models have 15 CL and headspreader cooling, is there any difference beside looks and leds?

there are FOUR different Corsair Vengeance DDR4 RAM types

Vengeance LPX is the cheapest and just has a short aluminium heatsink and is good for smaller form factor builds (especially in tighter cases where there might be clearance issues with the RAM) and is available in Black, White, Blue or Red

Vengeance LED has a light bar on top of each DIMM and is available with a black heatsink and there are three LED colour options white, blue and red

Vengeance RGB is the same as Vengeance LED but you can change the colour of the light bar on each DIMM instead of only being able to turn on/off the colour that was included on the DIMM also the heatsink on these DIMM's are available in white colour too

Vengeance RGB Pro physically looks...

does that mean if I want the rgb to sync with the rest of my corsair rgb products I have to get the pro version? I ask cause the pro is significantly more expensive where I live.

Very good presentation of the aesthetic differences guys. As far as being the same otherwise, I checked because I'm into specs...
They were the same (except for SPD timings) as specified by the manufacture, but in the case that I checked (RGB vs LPX), the SPD timings were (only) slightly better for the RGB.
Is it worth ponying up the (any) extra bucks based on performance? Probably not (depending on price)
Yea, essentially, you're paying for a light show.
