Hello,
I am planning to buy a desktop PC and I need ethernet cable to connect internet to it. Few days ago I set it all up and checked on my laptop if it would work. Problem is that my laptop cannot get internet using wifi (it connects to wifi but does not get internet) while ethernet cable is active in my house (not connected to my laptop). All other devices worked fine with wifi. Laptop got internet with wifi only when I disconnected ethernet cable from my modem. Is there a way to have both wifi, which would connect to my laptop, and ethernet cable and how to do this.

Solution
since they both transmit wi-fi in the same they interfer from each others so keep the working set up if it does not interfer with others users on the network .

Firstly, I am new here so do not look at my down vote... Its an accident
Secondly, yes that is my own wifi.
Thirdly, I am not sure which box is router and which one is modem so i might have unplugged it from router and not modem... So should I send you info about both? And there is a third box which I have no idea what it is...

1st box ADB P.RG EA4201N-1 (I connect cable to this one to enable ethernet. When cable plugged in ethernet works, but my laptop cannot get internet via wifi;when cable is pluged off there is no ethernet, but my laptop works with wifi. )
2nd box Pirelli DRG A125G (this one connects to the computer)
3rd box ZTE ZXA10 F601

zte is a bridge and receive signal from isp https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1278493/Zte-Zxhn-F601.html?page=12#manual adb is your router and if the wirelees mac address of the laptop is not on permite list it wil not coonect also check under there might be a password for the wi-fi you have to activate on laptop for net the pirelli is another router so where the isp cable is plug to first and why 2 router with a bridge in the set up .

Ok, so I can see at the bottom of ADB router there is a Mac address and WPA & WPA2 key aka password I used for all my devices to connect to wifi (including the laptop). Are these the ones I need? Also how do I add my laptop to that permite list?

Does this look like your network? LINK

And then you plug an Ethernet line into one of the yellow ports on the ADB and the laptop can no longer get on the Internet? Is that Ethernet line going to anything else? Is there an Ethernet line between the ADB and the Perelli?

Yes, it looks like my network. Yes I plug into one of the yellow ports (its the only one left becouse there are other cables) and yes that is when my laptop cannot longer get internet via wifi (it can be connected to internet with the ethernet cable) . The ethernet line goes through a wall so I cannot be 100% sure, but it is most likely connected to Pirelli (when I put ethernet cable in yellow port Pirelli gets internet signal and then ethernet can be connected to a PC)

One possibility is that what ever you are plugging into the last yellow port has the same IP address as the laptop. This would be possible if both the ADB and the Perelli are doing DHCP. Make sure DHCP is turned off on the Pirelli (DHCP is the protocol that automatically hands out IP addresses).

Is WiFi enabled on both the ADB and the Pirelli? It is ok if it is, because the Pirelli can act as access point to extend your WiFi network. But, if both have the same network name (SSID) it is harder to troubleshoot because you don't know which one you are connected to. If they both do WiFi, it would interesting to know if this happens if you are connected to either or if it only happens when you are connected to the Pirelli.

Both ADB and Pirelli has its own Wifi with different SSID. All my devices (including laptop) are connected to ADB's WiFi. I dont have time right now, but once I will be at home I will test what happens if I connect my laptop to the Pirelli's WiFi.

As for the possibility with DHCP I don't know how to check if it is active and how to turn it off. I will need more time to figute all of it out.

So I tried to connect to both wifis with my laptop and none worked. While I am connected to ADB's WiFi lapton cannot identify a problem and when it is connected to a Pirelli's WiFi it says that my DNS server might be unavailable. In both cases it connected to WiFi, but could not get internet.

Regular CMD is fine.
1. do "ipconfig". Near the bottom will be "default gateway" ... make not of that IP address.
2. do "ping x.x.x.x" where x.x is the ip address of your default gateway.
3. do "ping 8.8.8.8"
4. do "ping google.com"

Let us know how each one responds.
