Please Help! Pc wont let me past bios when installing gpu

PC says system halted unsupported video configuration when installing GPU. The only video cable is hdmi from my graphics card to my monitor. i have uninstalled the previous display drivers. still cant get past the Bios page its locked and none of the keys work with gpu installed. please help :(:(

While I agree with Peter on listing specs (it will be helpful), maybe he didn't have to scold you on your first introduction to the forum!

Anyways, if you have an Intel system, it's possible you need to change a setting in the bios from iGPU to external GPU. Then reboot and see how you get on.

edit: If the bios is locked, or you can't get into it, then turn off the system, take the external GPU out, and reboot. Then go back into bios and change the setting for iGPU to external. Then reboot after you have put the external GPU back in.
