So recently i have been playing some games on one of my monitors while having google chrome open on the other, after a while the game starts to stutter and my fps drops to 1 and it does this alot, i tab out and go over to google chrome to see that google chrome is also lagging and takes about 5 mins to close down when pressing the X, after that the game starts to run a little better untill i restart the game and then its back to complete normal, i realised that the "Disk" Part in the task manager was 100%, would this have anything to do with it?

Its not 100 on that picture but its just an example.

I have 16gb of Ram so its not like i havent got much. is there anyway to fix this problem from happening or am i going to have to play games without having anything up on my other monitor?

The 2 applications that are the highest at that moment in time would be the Game and Chrome, but that doesn't explain how ive never had this problem before and used to be able to keep chrome up while playing games?

I done this thing where i changed the value of something in Regedit to 1 instead of 0 it was something to do with like auto clearing on close.

Uninstalling Chrome didnt change anything, this doesnt explain why i used to get no problems AT ALL while using chrome and playing games.

MERGED QUESTION
Question from bamitscon : "Why is my Disk doing this"

So recently while playing games and doing stuff on google chrome my pc has become very freezy and laggy, i cant do anything without chrome lagging out and crashing, nothing loads. this never used to be a problem with me, playing games and sometimes browsing the web always loaded fine and never freezed, why and what is causing this now?

Specs; http://prntscr.com/ksbuuz

Task manager; http://prntscr.com/ksbv1k

And when playing games that DISK icon shoots up to 99/100% constant?

while doing nothing other than browing google chrome with everything else shut off it sits at a constant 90%
