Same as the title asks, I'm building a new computer and with the soon release of the 2080 I was thinking if its going to be better or not then the 1080ti, I have a 27", 165hz monitor and I'm not sure which one would be better to give me maximum frames. If you have any info regarding which would be best for performance with my monitor, it would be greatly appreciated.

I've seen spec sheets for the 2000 series but no test results yet. The 1080ti will easily handle your monitor at 165hz. But - I would say wait. It won't be long before they hit the shelves and then the reviews will pour in. I think the 2080 will come in about $500 over the 1080ti so keep that in mind too.
