My new build with the motherboard mentioned in the title won't boot, I have 8gb of ddr4 installed, a 1080 and an i5 processor plus 6 fans, using fan splitters to fit them all on the board every fan header is occupied. My psu is an evga 600w and I know the board is receiving power as it lights up indicating so but when I press the power button or short the power button pins there is no response, fans don't spin or light up. Nothing happens. All the connectors are fully inserted in their correct sockets and the board isn't being shorted by anything, when I installed the CPU I checked the pins and there were no bent ones and I'm sure I haven't bent any when I installed the CPU as I was very careful. The cooler is screwed on finger tight, ive tried clearing the CMOS but this had no affect, I have no idea what's wrong

Solution
a 1080 and an i5 processor plus 6 fans
Which i5, the 8th gen, 7th gen, or 6th gen? Because the MB can only support the 6th/7th gen cpu.

My psu is an evga 600w
What model? not all the evga 600W can power up the gtx1008, or do you test the gpu in other PC?

If you had the 6th/7th gen i5, then remove the gtx1080, use onboard iGPU to boot the PC. What happens? If the PC can boot, you know you need other PSU. If the PC can't boot, the problem maybe from something else, like the cpu or MB has problem
