Hi fellas!
So I'm sure you guys get asked this a lot so I'm sorry to ask this;
But I'm thinking about upgrading my i7 7700K to an 8700K.

Long story short, I'm getting performance issues for some games that are more CPU-based. I currently have two GTX 1080's. I'm thinking about buying this https://www.amazon.com/Intel-i7-8700K-Desktop-Processor-Unlocked/dp/B07598VZR8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1535694732&sr=8-1&keywords=8700k&th=1

This is a picture of my Mobo specs from speccy. Will that processor be supported (and handle well) with my mobo?

Solution

If you change to like Z370 you should have no Issues with other Hardware like GPU, Ram, HDD, SSD etc.
Its only the LGA Socket that does "change" and support a different generation of CPUs.

So if I were to as you say, buy a Z370, would any of my other hardware like GPU's, RAM, Harddrives,etc have compatibility issues or will it all "fit" together?
