This is my build:

Intel - Core i7-8700K 3.7GHz 6-Core Processor
be quiet! - Dark Rock Pro 4 50.5 CFM CPU Cooler
ASRock - Z370 Taichi ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Patriot Viper Gaming RGB Series DDR4 DRAM 2666MHz 16GB Kit
ADATA - XPG SX6000 1 TB M.2-2280 SSD
Seagate - Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
EVGA - GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB FTW3 DT GAMING Video Card
SeaSonic - FOCUS Plus Gold 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

So last night, I was able to boot up and get to the BIOS. I navigated through the menus, not changing any settings, and then continued. I was told I did not have a boot device. I turned the computer off and got a windows installation on my USB the following morning. However, when I went to turn on the computer, everything was working like last time, except the display. My monitor, which is on sleep, does not respond to the PC turning on.

I've tried reseting the CMOS and changing which RAM slot I'm using (currently only testing with one stick). I bought a new HDMI cable, still no luck. I've tried starting it up with or without the USB stick, nothing. And everything else on the back panel still works, including mouse and keyboard.

I also get error A2 on the motherboard, but from what I've read that's just saying that a booting os is needed.

Thank you to those who can help! I've been frustrated with this for 2 days now.

Latest review on Newegg:
Locked up and black screened during Windows 10 installation. Error code A2 and A6. Couldn't get into UEFI even with SATA drives disconnected. No post, nothing. RMA'd and the replacement did the exact same thing. No refunds for this thing either. Purchased a Gigabyte Aorus Ultimate Gaming Z370 board locally and it booted up like a champ with the same components and Windows installation, for $20 less including a 2 year store replacement warranty.

Manufacturer Response:
Dear Valued ASRock Customer,

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
Code A2 or A6 would have screen display.
Please check the monitor cable and set the appropriate output source on monitor.
Test with another...

I have a Dark Rock Pro 4 cooler so my fingers hurt from trying to uninstall the cpu cooler. I'll try reseating the CPU once I'm able to. Thanks!

It is very unlikely that your mobo is dead since its new and it worked earlier, so your monitor might be dead. Try to connect your pc to another monitor or a tv. You can also try connect a second pc, console or anything else to the monitor to see if it is dead.
