B450 Ryzen Motherboards

Hello, I am building my first pc soon and I decided to go with a Ryzen 3 2200G with vega 8 graphics.

But I am having a very hard time choosing the right motherboard for me which is either Gigabyte B450 AORUS M or MSI B450 GAMING PLUS

Both are M-ATX Motherboards and I can't find any further details about Overclocking capabilities. I want a motherboard that can Overclock Ram And CPU

I dont care about graphics card because I probably wouldn't game on this pc probably just CS:GO

Your answer would be much appreciated and do give recommendations if you found a cheap motherboard that can Overclock

The B450 chipset will allow you to overclock however the degree/extent of the overclock would be subdued, when compared to an X470 chipset board. Regardless you can still work with ram that is rated at 3200MHz in dual channel and expect a small overclock on the CPU side.

Between the two specific boards you listed, the Gigabyte B450 Aorus M has a superior VRM setup which i'd personally take if you're picking them solely based on Overclocking potential. RAM support looks around equal. Hope this helps! :)

Overall they're fairly similar boards... But if you're solely looking for Overclocking performance, i'd suggest the Aorus between the two based on what i said in my previous reply.
