My internet is great but I suddenly get these massive lag spikes that could make my ping reach 1800ms then it would suddenly settle back to around 50ms, this would happen ever interval of 5-10 seconds. I've been told that it could be a problem on my router. But I play online games a lot and dont download any software to boost performance but suddenly my ping becomes unstable and its only for my pc. When I play online mobile games on a phone it doesn't spike.
I've also tried troubleshooting my connection with windows it detected a problem and says "Your computer seems appears to be correctly configured, but the device or resource (DNS server) is not responding." But I haven't really touched that until I tried fixing it for myself by changing the "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" on my adapter's Properties.
I use windows 7 btw and my adapter was recently bought about 2-3 weeks ago
