1.Want to use SSD as primary drive and put current HDD in hard-drive caddy(by removing the DVD-drive).

Will it work?Which hard-drive caddy should I purchase?

2. Do I need to convert MBR to GPT to support SSD+HDD combo?(The motherboard supports UEFI but ASUS has provided BIOS( version k55vm.211))

3. Will I be able to dual boot linux+windows 10 on my primary SSD(and use HDD in the caddy to support storage only)?

Laptop specs:
ASUS k55vm-sx120d
i5-3210m/Intel HM76 chipset
2x4GB DDR3-1600/PC3-12800 SDRAM SO-DIMM (SK Hynix HMT351S6CFR8C-PB)
Intel HD 4000+ Nvidia GT-630m
750GB SATA 3Gb/s Seagate ST9750420AS(7200RPM) hard disk
HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GT51N DVD drive
Windows 10 pro x64

Solution

You could get a HDD caddy from eBay like this one

If you use a UEFI BIOS then you will have to go with GPT to be able to install Windows.
If you go with MBR, then disks up to 2TB in capacity will be supported.

Yes, use this guide to accomplish the task.
Make sure to only have the SSD connected...

Yes, use this guide to accomplish the task.
Make sure to only have the SSD connected while installing Windows and Linux, after you are done insert the HDD. This is to avoid any of the OSes from creating partitions on the HDD.

This is the best answer ever.

1. Will get a 12.7mm SATA caddy from amazon.
2. The mobo supports UEFI but ASUS gave BIOS only. Total space would be 750 hdd+250GB ssd.
So, I will move forward with MBR only.
3. Will follow the tutorial. After completing the task, I will insert HDD in caddy slot. Should I keep the windows in that
HDD or format it?

I will keep the HDD as is until everything is working on the SSD...the way you may want it.
After that you could format the HDD and wipe everything to get some extra space.
