I just got this new gaming mouse Roccat Nyth and this has a laser instead off optical.
And i cant turn off mouse acceleration. I have checked mouse settings in win and th software i use for the mouse Swarm. both boxes to enable mouse acceleratin is off.
Is there a way to stop this?
thanks

Not really sure what the issue is, if the box is unchecked, it means it's not selected. So if there is an option to enable something, but the box is "off" that means it's not enabled.

I know this is an old post, but did you make sure that Hardware Acceleration under the Windows Mouse settings is switched OFF? I had the same issue & fixed it by doing the following:

1.) Fully close the Swarm software by right clicking the icon in the taskbar & hit Exit. This will prevent potential conflicts with the Windows Mouse settings. They don't play nice together.

2.) Open the Windows Mouse Properties, go to Pointer Options, set the Pointer Speed to 6-7 (I personally have mine set to 8).
3.) Hit Apply. Don't close the Mouse Properties box just yet. This is an important step to ensure Acceleration remains turned off properly!
4.) Check the Enhance Pointer Precision box, then uncheck it. Hit Apply. Now close the Mouse Properties box by clicking OK.

5.) Fire up Swarm, Click over to Settings, set your Windows Pointer Speed & make sure that Enable Mouse Acceleration is unchecked. (If I recall correctly, I checked the box then unchecked it in Swarm like I did with the Windows Mouse settings just to make sure that it registered as disabled). Hit Apply.

6.) One more thing you may want to check is under Advanced Settings, the Advanced Sensitivity [X/Y Axis]. Make sure (at least for now) that the numerical setting for both the X & Y Axes are the same as the Pointer Speed (e.g. I have mine set at 2) & make sure the little box beneath the Y slider "Enable Enhanced Sensitivity" is unchecked. Hit Apply, then OK & you should be good.

Note: I've noticed that the X/Y Axis "Enhanced Sensitivity" seems to act like a redundant Mouse Acceleration for the Independent X Axis & Y Axis & it ends up re-enabling acceleration if checked.

One more tip: If you use the Tracking Control Unit (TCU) toggle the Distance Control Unit & Recalibrate. It helps to set the optical sensor somehow. If you don't use it, I'd recommend toggling it On then back Off.

Swarm is... quirky to say the least when it comes to the pointer settings. Once you figure it out & dial it in, though, you shouldn't have any problems. That being said, these is how I have dialed the various sensitivity/pointer settings for my Nyth in Swarm:

Sensitivity Options (in Settings Tab): 1
Windows Pointer Speed (Settings Tab, beneath DPI Switcher): 2. Enable Mouse Acceleration is Unchecked/Off.
Advanced Sensitivity [X/Y Axis] (Advanced Settings Tab): X= 2. Y=2. Enable Enhanced Sensitivity is Unchecked/Off.
Tracking Control Unit is ON. Distance Control Unit is set to Extra Low.
