Hello to you all.
Today my keyboard started to act very weirdly. Pressing the Left CTRL key apparently opens Internet Explorer now, and i can't use that key for ANYTHING. On Firefox, that same key opens the homepage, which isn't a common behaviour at all. Some research and nothing, it's not a setting, it's not a configured hotkey, just pure cat-sitting-on-your-keyboard situation, and apparently now that key only wants to do that. I checked out the iexplorer shoutcut, it's not set to have shortcuts at all. Firefox hasn't the setting to do that aswell :(

Cheers, Dee.

Solution
launch some keyboard tester to see if keys are working as intented
some keys have combined circuits to save cost
u may have something on your contacts so it may register several pressed keys even if u press just one

oh no, the infamous "cat presses key combo no human can and now kb does odd things" error... these can be hard to figure out.

You could look in system restore and see when last restore point is to roll system back to a time before cat sat on it. https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/system-restore-from-windows-8-recovery-environment/

there are some really strange key combos that can reek havoc on PC. Some let you disable all keys except numbers, good thing you didn't get that.
