Hello
I have an IBM server with two IBM FRU39M4533 hard drives(500GB, 7200RPM). I have seen that hard drive on eBay for almost £300. I know that server hard drives can be quite expensive, but man, are they really worth that much?

Solution
If you want to sell them, Ebay is the place, as at least you can get someone to big on it and put in a minimum.
Personally, not worth $20 to me - but they would be to someone I am sure.
Also it comes down to, how much you are happy to sell them at. If they are at $300 on Ebay and not selling, put yours up for $200

You can buy a brand new 1Tb 7200rpm SAS drive for $42. OP has a used 500Gb 7200RPM SAS drive. The caddy the drive is in costs $13.
