Even though 80+ certification has nothing to do with quality, the fact that it is fully modular and 80 + gold certified means its atleast a decent quality psu.

It can be. It all depends on the model. Brands like EVGA, Corsair, Cooler Master and such are all very reputable brands, but they also do make cheaper budget PSU's that can have quality control issues equivalent to cheaper brands.
