Will ASRock AB350 PRO4 boot with Ryzen 7 2700 out of the box?

Hi All,

Will ASRock AB350 PRO4 boot with Ryzen 7 2700 out of the box? I`m coming from Intel (finally) so I dont have older CPU handy to boot and update BIOS.

ASRock site is ambiguous. At specifications page it is stated that Pinnacle Ridge is supported, but its not indicated whether BIOS update is needed, or the BIOS version that supports it.

Unless it's made in last couple of month and is indicated on the box, most probably would need BIOS update. Seller should know best. I'd suggest an MB with b450 or x470 chipsets for grater compatibility and performance out of the box. Thy also have better fast RAM compatibility and greater RAM speed.
