Sorry for my poor english! Im trying to be understandable! :)

Short catchup background:
I am playing only two games on steam, Counter Strike Source and Age of Empires III! Age of empires is running without any problem, but CSS... the minimizing to desktop started out of the blue!! And it does it every 2min-30min! And this is a searious problem in a online game!
I this new computer a few months ago (Acer Nitro, desktop) and this minimizing started to happen, as I wrote, out of the blue, about 3 weeks ago!
When I want to play css without any bugs or problem, I need to take my old (many many year old ASUS desktop) and noisy-as- computer back in business, and this feels kinda... wrong... I want my NEW computer to run smoothly! So... WHY is my old better to run onlinegames than my new one?

When this minimize is happening, I dont get any notes! Nothing is blinking... Everything looks "normal". When I klick on the game-icon, it pops up right away. BUT STILL, this IS a huge problem.

Things I've tried out:
Wel.. The simpliest things becouse Im not that good at reading advanced english! For example: switching of Malware while playing, and a few ASUS-programs. I downloaded Game booster, but It did not help. I tried to change the resolution in css, but It did not help either.
I've also checked some youtube-videos, but their problems (some program/file) did not exist on my computer. For example some.. Tp-link? Or what ever.. I also remowed the latest window-10 update from my computer... Nope! No help!
And yeeesssshh... I have re-installed Css... Re-installed Steam.
Probably I've tried something else too, but Now I can't remember!

SO? Any facts? info? suggestions? ASAP! :( Im counting on you guys!
Can it be some small or huge program? Some X to remove? Some service? Some STEAM bug? <-- don't think so tho... (becouse it runs normal on the old, dusty computer) Some driver?
AND I am playing with only 1 screen...

Hope to hear from you / xoxo / Stupid blonde girl

Solution
I build a PC for a friend and he had the Same Issues with League of Legends.
We made sure that every windows update was installed. Updated his Nvidia Drivers and reinstalled the games + checked for Errors in the Game files.
Somehow that fixed the Problem...

Other then that i would write an email to the steam customer Service.
Maybe that does happen more often and they have an answere for you

Do you have Microsoft office installed? If so disable auto updates. Also turn on task manager while playing game and see if anything pops up on task manager when it minimizes. Also run virus scan.

As I wrote, I re-installed steam AND CSS! But Now I will check is updating Nvidia will help. First of all, I must figure out HOW to do it! :D I will do some research!
"Checked for errors in the gamefile" <--- Can you explain a little bit more!? :D

No viruses! :) No Office! Task Manager seems to be clear! (from there I removed for example some ACER-crap (NOT ASUS-crap as I wrote in the first message, sorry my mistake)

Checking for Errors: In Steam library if you rightclick on a game, then Settings and a little window should pop up. There is an option called "checkin files for Errors" or something like that.
Since im German i dont really know how it is procounced in english^^

I have no idea what kind of windows my old (about... 8 y old?) Asus has, but the desktop is slightly different than on my New Asus Nitro. For example, on my old computer you see no "speech bubble" in the down right. And and this old computer CSS and all other games works fine without any problems. So... Can it be.... my new computer has a new'er Windows than the old one and... It has some problems/bug?
*checking the website* My new computers seems to have Windows 10 64-bit.

Just thinking out loud. :D Still need help!

Easiest way to fix this is by playing in borderless windowed. The other is to find out the background program or running one that makes this happen, it is usually some sort of quiet notification such as pop ups, reminders etc, some system interrupt

I would go to task manager and end nonessensial processes one after another and see if at some point I terminated a program/service which caused the trouble.

I feel so stupid to ask, but what means playing in "borderless windowed"? :D I will do and try EVERHTING to solve this problem!

I've already tried to end some 'useless' things from task manager BUT it was only like... 2.... So.. I can work on that. But, Im no super-geek, so is there Any Superinportant things that Im not supposed to end? Or.. Is the list too long? :D
Tnx btw for helping.

In CSGO video settings there is an optione to choose between fulscreen, windowed, windowed borderless.

You could show us task manager screenshot. Screenshot at the time this minimizing happens would be even better.
