Hi all, I have Been recently (but rarely) getting the memory management BSOD.
Rig specs:
Windows 10x64
Ryzen 5 2400g cpu
Gigabyte GA-AX370-gaming 5 (rev 1) mobo
Evga geforce 970 ssc gpu
Corsair cx550 psu
Corsair vengeance Lpx 8gb×1 ram ddr4 2400
Corsair force series 240gb ssd
WD black 1tb hhd

Here is the situation,
A buddy of mine had an 8gb lpx vengeance stick of ram which is the same exact of mine(speed, brand, size) that wasn't being used anymore so we tried it in my rig, everything worked fine. I know they are supposed to be purchased in a set, but it was alot cheaper to see if it would work than buying a new set of 16. Unfortunately I now get the BSOD mem_management. I tried removing the stick but when running the test, it still says hardware issues. I also tried updating all drivers. Did I ruin my ram by trying to be cheap or can I fix this? Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.
can it be the ram on my gpu?
