Hello guys
Im doing a build and searching a good ram that could be supported by this mobo: GIGABYTE H370N WIFI
Ive seen the qvl list but im not too expert and im getting mad. What changes between the 2300 and 2666 and the timing’ì?
I will use for photoshop digital painting, so i think anything between 16GB of ram could be good (also only 8)
And whats the difference if i buy single 16gb or 2x8 ?

The difference is the speed. As speed increases, you may see a bit higher latency.
Speed gives you more throughput in a second.

2x8GB advantage is that if one fails, then the other stick can be used to work as standby until you get another stick.
Also if the sticks are identical, then you can have the slight peformance increase with dual channel feature.

Only disadvantage is that if you want to max again, then need to replace with 2x16GB sticks. But if you buy a single 16GB, then you can add 8GB or 16GB later for the max.

I would recommend to get a good 16GB stick over 2x8GB.
