https://www.cclonline.com/pc/specialist-gaming-pcs/cobra/ccl-storm-500-gaming-pc/ This is the pc I want to buy, it has a ryzen 1200, 1x8gb 2400mhz ram, and a gtx 1050. Please don't try to convince me to build. Will this be able to play Destiny 2 and Fallout 4 at 1080p medium settings above 30fps? Also should I get dual channel ram? it's a bit more expensive but I want to leave that slot open in case i want to upgrade to 12gb or 16gb. will it be a big performance hit?

Solution
1: Get dual channel or you'll regret it big time. Lower end AMD CPU's need dual channel and higher speed memory or you'll lose out on fps.

2: Get 2x4=8gb ram for now. Someday when you're ready for more RAM, sell the sticks you'll have and get 2x8=16gb.

3: It sounds like you're new to PC gaming. That's fine, we were all new at one time but 30 fps is not acceptable in PC gaming. I know it works for console but not here. Always shoot for systems that can achieve 60fps.
