Mobo can't find HDD

MOBO can't seem to find hard drive. I just bought an ASUS P8H61-M LX2 R2.0 motherboard to go with my i5 3470 cpu and 8gb of ram. However, It can't seem to find my hard drive. These were just working. So, I'm baffled as to why this mobo can't seem to find them. They heat up when plugged in. So, surely that means they're on right? I even tested my hard drive from my other system and it couldn't find it. However, it seemed able to find my ssd when plugged in.

I don't believe this board supports raid. In this, I was just attempting to get one drive working. It is a 500GB WD black, but It doesn't seem to show up in the bios.

No. I was saying I pulled the HDD out of my other system to test on this. One of them is the seagate barracuda 1TB. The other is the WD 500GB WD5002ABYS. The 1 TB was found in the other system because I used it there, but this mobo won't work with it.
