Hey guys I bought a gaming computer a couple years back, It come without an OS so I had to manually install one myself and I had little knowledge about computers I got it to boot but had it limited to usage for some reason. A lot of programs crash or won’t even open, I gave up on it for years but pulled it back or a couple weeks ago and I think the problem is due to lack of memory usage, Iv looked at my “About System” and it says it’s only using 1.9GB out of the 8GB RAM I have got installed. Iv looked into it and tried all the guides to fix the problem by maximising to virtual memory or whatever and every time I change a setting like this and restart it always goes back to the recent setting and I’m still stuck at 1.9GB. Iv had lots of trouble with it and spent hours looking at my screen trying to work out the problem. I recently ordered two new vengeance rams to install to see if that fixes it
I’m not to good with computers so couldn’t really tell you the specs with it
It’s running AMD Radeon R7
Asrock Fatal1ty FM2A88X+killer
And a G-Skill Ram I think

Try this:

Open "System Configuration". (Windows + R), type in "msconfig" and press OK.
Under "Boot" Tab click on "Advanced Options" and check "Maximum Memory" and select 8192.
Press OK and Apply.
Reboot.

I hope that works.
