Cloned SSD wont boot, Windows on one drive, boot on another

Ok, so..My PC has two HDD's, -Drive(C 815GB free of 931GB- -Drive(D 37GB free of 74GB.

Screenshot of Disk Management: https://ibb.co/ih7ZfK

I decided I wanted to upgrade to a SSD. So I cloned Drive C to the SSD, all went well. I then disconnected C + D and just had the SSD in to attempt to boot...It wouldnt boot. 'BOOTMGR is missing'

So I unplugged each drive and just plugged in the original C Drive (Which has windows installed on it) This also wouldn't boot up.

So I am to believe that Windows is installed on my C Drive. But the bootmgr is installed on my D Drive.

Does anyone know anything that can help? I've been trying to solve this all day. (this is my first time attempting any kind of upgrade so don't know much)

I just want everything to be the same as before when using the HDD, but on the SSD for a better performance.

Any help is much appreciated.

Solution
Boot from cloning/partitioning software, resize your SSD partition smaller so it can hold the boot partition, then clone the boot partition from the HDD to the SSD. Finally Set the boot partition as Active, and it will be bootable.

If you prefer to only use the Windows 10 bootable media, unplug the HDD and boot from the Win 10 installer to repair the boot sector. This will write a folder called "boot" into your main SSD partition so you won't have or need a separate boot partition. Then you could plug the HDD back in and format or delete the boot partition from that.

I would say the clone went astray. Try Macrium Reflect Free which provides a reliable clone application. The operational steps are set out here

Thank you both for your help. Booted the SSD along with Windows installation disk, this repaired the missing boot sector.

Thanks again.
