Is it Worth upgrading motherboard to overclock?

Greetings,
Quick question for you guys, is it worth it upgrading my b250 motherboard to a z series motherboard so that I may be able to overclock my CPU? If so, will it give me a decent performance boost? Thanks in advance. :)

CPU: i5 6600k
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1060 3gb
Motherboard: MSI B250 Gaming M3
RAM: 16gb GDDR4 Corsair vengeance lpx 2400mhz (4x4gb)
PSU: EVGA 750 G2 80+ Certified

Generally speaking, no its probably not worth it.
You would be spending a few hundred bucks to get a few percent increase in processor performance, at that rate you are better off saving the money for a future upgrade that would actually make a difference (or something like an SSD, new keyboard, etc, that would actually have value).

The possible performance increase by overclocking your cpu would not make such a great impact. Unless you want to spend 80-100 usd on a Z series motherboard only to receive minimal performance.
