Not going to happen even if you got Intel to understand why you want to do it. In short both the platforms are incompatible. The memory controller on the Core 2 Duo's were on the NB of the motherboard. now it's inside the CPU's die.

No! C2D will not run on any DDR4 compatible mainboards. At least not in this realm.
