Hello,

I've been using my system for about a year now and managed to avoid stressing it with high end video games because it would just shut down on me. The gtx970 4gb has coil whine and was replaced with a new one, but the problem persists.

psu is an AcBel® 500W iPower G550 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX/EPS PSU (550W Max)

Since i have little experience with troubleshooting hardware components i'm guessing the psu is beyond faulty. Can you please help me with this issue, what might be wrong with the psu or if the gpu is just drawing too much power?

Thanks!

Solution
yeah if you can afford to buy a good PSU it is worth it but up to you I have had cheap ones before you spend a 100 pounds buy a good one with a guarantee of 7-8 years with the EVGA its worth it I think.
