Front Audio Jack Not working

Hello...

As the title suggest, my front audio ports are not working, im not really sure as to why, i checked and they are connected to the motherboard, but they just don't show up, as if they weren't connected in the first place.... anybody know what could be wrong?

Motherboard Gigabyte Dual Audio:-H61M-DS2 (0x000001F2 - 0x00A0E60A)

Case:- i-ball

Does the case have the "HD Audio" or "AC-97 wire coming from it?
Did you manually install the audio drivers or let Windows do it for you?

the wires are plugged in MOBO slot and it has AV-97

I don't think the AC-97 will work. It might but you may have to change the settings in the audio software. If you didn't install the audio software you can find it here: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-H61M-DS2-rev-20#support-dl-driver

If it still doesn't work I would plug in the HD audio wire from the case instead.

* To configure 7.1-channel audio, you have to use an HD front panel audio module and enable the multi-channel audio feature through the audio driver.

Sounds like you need the HD audio connector.
