Note 4 For 30 bucks, Worth it?

Hello, My friend just upgraded to a Note 8, and he is offering his older Note 4 to me for 30 bucks.

He says it has a custom Rom Instaled, and That he has been using it for a year now with no issues.

there are no dents or scratches and comes with a case,

so, Is it worth it?

P.s I do not have a phone

For 30 bucks? This shouldn't even be a question.
Just go for it.
Also don't forget to buy a new battery. Smartphone batteries degrade and start losing their capacity after 2 years.

he just put a new one in 4 months ago, I will prob get it tomorrow

Which CPU/GPU combo does it have?

Snapdragon 805 with Adreno 420 "Still very decent but won't handle high-end games well"
or
Exynos 5433 with Mali-T760 MP6 "Will play anything out"

Stock ROM vs Custom, on that device a custom ROM is a better option since it will increase battery life and not drag down the performance, Marshmellow was a resource sapper on every device I have updated to.

Overall for $30 that is still a very decent phone and generally resells for around $115-$180. You will find it faster than new phones in the $100 price range.

thats what I was thinking, though, I most likely will not play games on it, I would mostly use it for texting and as a MP3 player / youtube
