My CPU (i-5) fried while under waranty. I installed the replacement CPU and there was no output from the graphics card. I plugged it into the integrated graphics and that works, but the GTX 960 is not detected. I've tried updating drivers, updating the BIOS, reseating everything. The card was tested in another computer and works fine. The NVIDIA utility won't detect it either. The BIOS is set to PCI-e. This is the same set-up that worked for 2 years, so all the hardware is compatable. I'm running Windows 10. Can anyone help me out?

It seems like your motherboard or your GPU might be fried but then again it could even be that your PSU can't deliver the necessary power to your system with a discrete GPU populated.

My bad, I've included the hardware below. I'm running the latest version of Windows 10. The PSU is 2 years old and has run all of the hardware in the past. I replaced the CPU with the same model. The CPU spontaneously crashed, no lightning or power surge that I am aware of. I was playing Half Life 2, so not particularly taxing for my rig. The GPU has been tested and is not fried. The motherboard seems fine, and all of the other features work normally.

Any ideas? I think you might be on to something, Lutfij. What would a motherboard failure look like? The PCIe slot is the only piece of hardware I haven't been able to test, but as far as I can tell everything else on the motherboard is functioning. The set up worked before, but I was running all of my graphics outputs off the card only. I thought I was way under budget on power usage, but I don't know what the integrated graphics would draw. Not that it helped, but I also did a reinstall of Windows last night, so there's one more solution to rule out.

I have also faced this when I bought my new phone. the graphics card didn't detect after trying again and again. I use it in another device then it detected and worked properly. there was a settings problem which was solved with the help of Mobile Repair Dubai. if you can't solve this yet you may visit once. I assure you that you will definitely get proper solution.
