Which Large Disk

Hey guys, I'm quickly running out of space on my 5 year old WD Green 4TB and would like to make the jump to something much bigger. Have seen some possibilities, but obviously no idea which would be better.

Outside of the WD Gold, I'd pick any of the remaining three. If it's to short list the drives further, we'd need to know what sort of applications you tend to have on your system and if you're creative professional/content creator since the data you store will be precious. In that respect I'd ask you to have a RAID 1 array to back up all the data on two drives simultaneously.

Thank you both for replying so quickly.
I have a variety of uses for these drives. Gaming, editing video, family photos etc. I just added another 500GB drive that I took from an old PC and that's now in the red with a small games folder, so things are getting kinda desperate. The old 4TB in my system already has a 1.5TB Steam folder, 800GB UPlay folder, 400GB of videos for editing. Because the drive will be accessed a lot, I thought I'd be better off with some kind of "PRO" drive that could take the punishment.

Hey guys, although SSDs have come down in price, it seems that hard disks have gone up. I'm waiting for Black Friday and hoping the £100 mark-up will be taken back off again..!

Anyway, a couple of years ago, I put a 2TB drive in the system and the Windows 10 installation on the small SSD no longer worked. To save that kind of hassle this time, I found these 2 external caddy items, but I'm unsure as to which one would be more suitable:
