Since you're dealing with a Ryzen platform, you should aim for buying a DDR4-3200MHz ram kit in a 2x4GB version. The ram you have will work but to be honest Ryzen and the platform will benefit from higher frequency ram. You should have at least 8GB of ram for a gaming system.
