Weak signal to PC

Internet works fine on my phone, table and laptop. Just got moved into a new place and now every internet signal that shows up even if its my hotspot shows up as a weak 2 bar signal sometimes one. No clue how to fix tried updating the network adapter and uninstalling reinstalling nothing seems to work.

If "Internet works fine" then ignore the 2 bar signal indication.

The bars are just a general indicator and not really all that accurate.

As for the PC - are you using a built-in wireless adapter or a USB or PCI-e based wireless adapter?

You might be able to help some by using a USB extension cable to raise up a USB wireless adapter. Or antenna extensions in the case of a PCI-e wireless adapter.

End objective to just get the receiver up and out from behind the PC. May or may not make a difference - easy to try.
