Hi all,
I’ve built my first PC less than a month ago, and I’m already having trouble with my GPU. I’ve been getting the blue screen of death on Windows 10 with the error ‘System Thread Exception Not Handled’. I looked up what that meant, and it basically said my GPU wasn’t working, or outdated, which is nearly impossible since I bought it from Amazon less than a month ago, brand new. I’ve tried updating drivers, windows, using ‘command prompt’ to search for files that mightn’t be working or something, nothing has worked, and I’m afraid to accept the fact that my GPU may not be working, but it may be too late to get a replacement.Is there any other way to fix this problem, or will I have to buy a new GPU?
My specs are as follows:
Mobo: MSI X370 Gaming Plus
CPU: Ryzen 5 1600
Ram: Corsair Vengeance 16gb
GPU: Asus Cerberus GTX 1050ti advanced
SSD: Kingston 240GB
Apologies if I’ve missed anything blatantly obvious, I’m extremely new to PC building.
