What pc component should I upgrade?

Current Specs: (basic)
i3-7100 3.9 Ghz 2 cores
gtx 1050 ti 4gb
8gb RAM
etc

I am looking for an increase in performance in csgo (1920x1080 low graphics), though I'm only looking to upgrade 1 part at the moment. GPU or CPU? Open to all suggestions.

Low settings or high, a better GPU is going to go toward your higher frame rate goal much better than upgrading a CPU that is, like I said, already 3.5 times the required. There's no other way to explain it really.

You could at least mention a budget.

I would upgrade the GPU. Your CPU is already 3.5 times the required. A better GPU would allow higher frame rate and graphics settings.

The next logical step up from the 1050 Ti is the 1060 6GB, which currently start at $260, though I would wait until 9/20 when Nvidia releases the new 2000 series, because prices on the 1000 series will no doubt drop.

Are you sure? Considering i'm looking to play at low settings (for the highest possible frame rate), even after the upgrade
