OC caused problem

so i have gigabyte r9 390 8gb. i overclocked its memory clock for a bit and the screen went black even after restarting and unplugging everything. system boots fine but there is nothing in screen

What did you overclock with? Did you enable overclock at startup?

The usual fix is: Safe mode > delete OC software

i OC ed with radeon settings it is called global wattman or somethinf like that

Next time use MSI Afterburner. You have three ways to fix it:
1. Take out GPU > Use onboard graphics if it has one > Reset OC or delete wattman
2. Safe mode > Reset OC or delete wattman
3. Plug your boot drive to another computer > Delete wattman

It's possible but rare. You could test R9 390 on another computer to make sure. I never broke GPUs while overclocking.

If you had voltage on auto, ehh wattman might overvolt the memory.
