I've been gifted a Core 2 Duo system that is going to replace my old d'link nas.
It's an LGA 775 board and I'm looking to replace the CPU with a better one on ebay for $50 but the problem is the CPU now pulls 60w max and the pentium extreme I want to put in it will pull 130 watt and I'm not sure if the power supply will have much fun, also I want to upgrade the ram to at least 8, what's the maximum it will take? Is there any way I can check the power supply's max wattage? I can't find it written anywhere, all I know is it's a Dell prebuilt, it has 0HY368 I'm fairly certain that's the model number but Google gave no results.
Any help will be much appreciated.
