Is it worth to upgrade my gtx 970 to 1060 6gb? is the difference big enough to notice in gaming?
or save a little bit money to get gtx 1070?

Not gaining much going from 970 to 1060, mostly DX12, going to 1070 Ti would be a nice upgrade, if you can get it at a reasonable price.
