Coaxial vs Cat5e+

I have Verizon Fios for internet only (no TV). I want to move the Verizon router/modem to my room.
Coaxial and cat 5e+ are not next to each other. Do I need to use both for internet access?

Desperate in need of help.

Assuming you have the appropriate type of cable from the ONT to where you want to place the modem. I believe that is all that is required.

ONT == Optical Network Termination. That is the box on the outside of your house where FIOS optical from the street terminates.
