Intel z97 help:
Hey guys, I built a computer a few years ago. here is the part list:
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nQTxpb
When I was first building the PC, it wouldn't turn on. I tried many things, until one thing worked, which was putting my 2x4gb g skill ram sticks in to the first and second memory channel. after some recent testing, I've come to the conclusion that slots 3 and 4 dont work- the computer will start up, flash the bios screen, start up the fan, but will then almost immediately after turn off. This has brought me problems, as the ram underperforms in its single-channel state. Has anyone run across this issue? please help me out. Thank you
edit: I see a lot of people talking about checking for bent pins, but it's quite the process to check for that, would you guys recommend changing around some voltage settings in the BIOS? If so, what should I change?

it's always had the issue of the B channel being bad. I don't have another motherboard. The ram should be working fine theoretically.

I had the same issue with my z87 board when I first put everything together. The way I fixed this issue was to remove the cpu and put it back in and very softly rubbing it against the pins underneath it. My guess would be that some of the pins aren't making any contact on cpu like the issue was with my setup.
