PC Specs: i5 4670k

Problem: Hi, I'm using Afterburner to try overclock my gpu and Kombustor to to Benchmark, to try get a few more fps. But my Core clock and memory clock basically can't go over +100Mhz without crashing Kombuster. Everytime I try set in any higher my screen just goes the full colour of my desktop, for this instance yellow and Kombustor just crashes. Any tips, to what may be causing this>
