I'm not sure the motherboard QVL will be all that helpful...but maybe Asrock has updated theirs since the B350 boards released in early 2017. Since you're going to be running a 2600 CPU you'll have the advantage that at least it is specified to support 2933 memory.

I assume you'll get a board with a 'Ryzen 2000 ready BIOS' already in place (you'd better with a 2600 in there) but even so update to the latest BIOS as soon as possible. Reason being: they've made regular and steady improvements in memory support with each BIOS/AGESA release. With the latest AGESA in place I believe one could say 3000 is...

Reason being: they've made regular and steady improvements in memory support with each BIOS/AGESA release. With the latest AGESA in place I believe one could say 3000 is 'viable', but that doesn't mean a locked-in sure thing. It will probably boot up default at 2133 and loading an XMP it may or may not boot up at 3000. If it doesn't, manually load the multiplier, timings and setting DRAM voltage to 1.35 usually gets it.

If that still doesn't work you may have to play with some of the other timings and parameters: remember, 3000 is still overclocking no matter how you look at it. I've read of many people getting Vengeance LPX to run at 3200+ with Ryzen 2000 chips on B350 motherboards but it took some tweaking. That makes it viable to me.
